The Municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee has recently issued an “All-in-one Permit for Physical Aspects” (omgevingsvergunning), in accordance with the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment (Rijkswaterstaat) and Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), to allow the ongoing Kitepower’s operations within the region to advance. The obtainment of this permit is going to facilitate the development of the Kitepower test site located in Melissant.

We would like to thank all the parties that have been involved in the process, that are working towards the facilitation of renewable energy project developments. We are looking forward to an intense testing season ahead.
